MAD-VF, also known as CECCHINI FABIO, is an independent developer (I.T. Consultant). The data controller is CECCHINI FABIO.
This privacy policy explains how MAD-VF handles personal data when You use MR Halloween.
Almost none. MR Halloween requires no account and no login, shows no advertising and uses no statistics or analytics, no cookies, no trackers and no profiling. MAD-VF does not sell or share any data with third parties. The only data processed is what You choose to send to the optional online leaderboard described below.
After a match You can choose to save Your score with a nickname (up to 12 characters, with a profanity filter). If You don’t save it, nothing is sent. If You save it, the server stores: nickname, score, difficulty level, date and time of saving, and app version. This data is used only to show the leaderboard (top 10 for each difficulty level) in the game and on the game’s website, so Your nickname is publicly visible: we recommend not using Your real name or any other personal data.
The connection is encrypted (HTTPS). The server (an OVH VPS) is registered to CECCHINI FABIO, who runs the generationsd.com, mad-vf.com, mad-vf.store and justvr.host domains on it; the leaderboard uses the generationsd.com domain. The server is located in: Frankfurt, Germany (EU).
To limit abuse, the server uses Your IP address only in hashed (encrypted) form: the address is not stored in plain text and is not used to identify anyone. Technical security data (nonces and anti-abuse counters) is deleted automatically.
Scores are kept for as long as they are needed for the leaderboard. You can ask at any time for Your score to be deleted by writing to the email address below, stating the nickname, difficulty level and approximate date of saving.
On phones, the camera is used only to show Your room and to place the ghosts in it (augmented reality). On headsets, passthrough and hand tracking are handled by the device’s own system. In all cases the game does not record, store or send any images, video, audio or hand data.
Purchase and license verification are handled by the store You downloaded the game from (Meta / PICO / VIVEPORT / Google Play / App Store), according to its own privacy policy. The game does not receive any payment data.
MR Halloween is a family game. We do not ask for name, email, age or location. Parents and guardians can ask at any time for a score to be deleted by writing to the email address below.
Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and applicable local laws, You have the right to access Your data, to have it rectified or erased, and to object to its processing. To exercise these rights, use the contacts below. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority.
